New Summerfield I.S.D. has exciting news to share with our families, students, and community. Our District has been rated an “A” (with an overall rating of 94) based on the Texas Education Agency's A-F Accountability Rating System for the 2024-2025 school year. Congratulations to our students and staff on their continued hard work and a job well done.

We are excited to announce that the New Summerfield ISD Police Department was made official today, with all required documentation turned in to the State of Texas. With the department being established, Trey Shewmake was sworn in as New Summerfield ISD Chief of Police this afternoon by Judge Rodney Wallace. Thank you to Chief Fred Bulter of the City of New Summerfield for all the help and guidance throughout this entire process. We also want to thank the New Summerfield ISD Board of Trustees for all that they have done to ensure that our Staff and Students are safe.

Important Information for all families of New Summerfield ISD. The attached flyers address the state-mandated requirements of House Bill 1481, which was signed into law by Governor Abbott.
Every student must complete a Student Health Information Form before they can start school in August. Parents can print forms off from the following link or pick one up from the campus secretaries.

We are excited to celebrate our Junior High students' many accomplishments from this school year! Our Student Spotlight will take place next Thursday, May 8th @ 2:30 p.m.
The Athletic Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 1st in the Coliseum at 11:30am. High School Athletes will have a Fun Day from 1pm - 4pm that afternoon.
