Mrs. Burns is the reading teacher for our Junior High.

1967 - Graduated from NSISD High School

1969 - Graduated from TJC and gained her associate’s degree

1971 - Graduated from SFASU and gained her bachelor of arts degree

1978 - Graduated from University of Texas at Tyler - MED degree with reading specialist certificate

1971 - 1975 - Troup ISD

1975 - 2003 - New Summerfield ISD - retired after 32 years

2004 - 2009 - Lon Morris College

2010 - 2012 - Pineywoods Community Academy

2013 - Present - New Summerfield ISD
