Announcement Regarding Weather
According to the latest weather forecast, we are in for a cold, wet weekend. New Summerfield I.S.D. will closely monitor weather conditions and forecasts throughout the weekend. Any changes to our regularly scheduled day on Monday, January 26, 2026, will be communicated as early as possible. Decisions that need to be made on Monday morning will be available by approximately 5 a.m.

Calling ALL Hornet fans Big and Small! Next week is HOMECOMING in New Summerfield! Come out Friday January 16th starting at 5:30 pm in Hornet Coliseum. We will have the presentation of the Duchess and Duke of each underclass and crowning of our Homecoming Queen and King.
In support for our Hornets to win the game on Friday, we will have activities through the week starting with dress up days daily and many more fun activities! See flyer for what to wear!

The New Summerfield ISD Administration is keeping a close eye on the ongoing incident that occurred yesterday in Jacksonville. We have NO reason to believe that our community or school district is threatened by the situation. Chief Shewmake will maintain constant contact with the Jacksonville Police, the County Sheriff's Department, and the Local Police Department throughout the day. As always, our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. We will provide any updates as needed.
