SHAC

The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a parent/community run organization comprised of parents and community leaders who care about the health environment that schools provide for students. It is the only school advisory required by Texas law to make recommendations on health issues to the Board of Trustees and Superintendent.

What do SHAC members do?

Members attend general SHAC meetings a minimum of 1 time during the school year to discuss health-related issues relevant to the needs of our students.
