On behalf of the faculty, staff, students, administrators, and Board of Trustees, I would like to welcome you to the New Summerfield Independent School District website. We hope you find the website to be both easy to navigate and informative.

New Summerfield is a 2A district serving approximately 530 students in grades PK-12. As the 2023-2024 school year begins, the district will begin its second year with a 4 Day School Week.  The district provides an array of activities and educational opportunities for its students. The district has a rich history dating back to its official formation in 1929. Since its inception the district has served as the center of activity and the focal point for the community.   The community passed a nearly $8 million dollar bond to construct a new junior high, cafeteria, and competition gymnasium which all opened in 2017. The district was also awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, Cycle 12 this past summer.  This grant provides after-school enrichment programs and activities for its students.    As superintendent I look forward to working with the board, staff, students, and community to continue building upon the already great things going on here at New Summerfield School.
